I was at a ghetto gas station this morning when some skankazoid drove right behind me. I tapped the side of his 1980 Lexus which was totally made of rust. The gas station was totally packed, so I pulled up beside him without rolling my window down. He said he was okay, and there was no damage to either car, so I drove away. Of course the guy starts following me, pulling up next to me and screaming at me and shit, because "I should have got out the car". Uhh, no, dude was scary as hell looking. So then I see him on his phone and he says he's calling the cops on me. I kinda doubt he actually did it, because skanks usually don't want to get the police involved, but I seriously don't want an APB on my license plate! I live in a large city. Should I call a police station and give my side or something to protect myself, or should I let it go?
Thanks! I guess I can't end the question early, but I called the police station and explained the situation. The lady who answered said that she couldn't look it up this soon to see if there had been a report, but that if I heard anything all I needed to do was explain my side of the story. She said not to worry, I wouldn't be arrested or anything. :)

Sodium Silicate to seal a cracked gasket..(product steel seal)?

Has anyone heard or tried adding sodium silicate to their car for a cracked or blown gasket? There is a product marketed as "Steel Seal". I have a 93 Lexus ES300 that is losing coolant even after replacing the water pump, thermostat, and timing belt, and I have white smoke coming from the exhaust pipe. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be getting into the oil or transmission fluid.

Why does Toyota make Lexus good looking, but all other Toyota cars ugly?

So Toyota makes Lexus cars really good looking, luxurious, nice. But then they make the Camry and Corollas and the rest of Toyotas ugly boring plain.
Same thing with Honda they make the Acuras really good looking, and the Accord and Civic plain.

So my question is Why is this? Why dont they just make all their cars good looking?
Yes i know Lexus and Acura cost more, But why cant they make thier other cars just as good looking for a lower price.

1992 lexus ls car stereo problem!!!!?

i have a 1992 lexus ls 400 just bought it and it had no stereo i purchased one but now idk what to do ! i connected the basic wires to start the stereo but it wont!!!
the only way it starts is if i connect both the yellow and red together but it wont turn off ! here are pictures of the wires if any one can please help me out thanks =)

by the way here are all the wires i have on the stereo 1 red , 1yellow , 1 black, 1 orange/white, 1 blue, 1 blue/white, 1 babyblue/grey, 2 purple , 2 black/grey, 2 white/black, 2 green



on the adapter i have

i saw an add on craigslist selling a 2006 Lexus IS250, the pictures of the car seemed as it was in excellent condition, but they are only selling it for $3,400... i emailed the person asking more infomation on the car, tell me what you think

Am I better off buying a pre-modified car or doing it myself (read description)?

So Im wanting to have a modified car (so have tints, alloys, exhaust, lexus lights), am I better off buying one thats already been modified so I dont need to do anything/partly done (so just like tints and alloys maybe), or buying a stock car and doing it myself. Obviously if money was no object Id do it myelf, but Ive got about £3500 for it. Ive worked out I need about 700-1000 of that for insurance, so the rest can be spent on the car. So either buy a pre done one for about £2500, or buy a car for about £1500 and then modify it myelf (Ive allocated about 1K for the modifications). I DONT WANT ANSWERS LIKE MODED CARS ARE SH*T OR STUFF LIKE THAT

I just bought a 1996 Lexus ls400 with 227k miles, just passed smog yesterday, is this a good sign?

that the engine is working fine, and how many more miles can I expect out of it with proper maintenance, what items should be looked at right away, it looks like the car wasnt really taken care of as the shocks are gone, the interior is weathered but not torn up and the body is straight, they just painted over the gray bottom and made the whole car white but the white paint doesnt match the cars white paint exactly. Got it for $2300, no accidents and not a salvage title.
